What We Can Chip

Brush chipping is intended for suitable branches, trimmings, and woody vegetation. We review the pile before work because soil, rocks, metal, construction debris, and other contamination cannot be processed as brush.

  • Tree branches and pruning debris
  • Woody brush and suitable cut vegetation
  • Hedge and shrub trimmings that can be safely processed
  • Debris generated by tree removal or land-clearing work

Chip Handling & Cleanup

The estimate should state whether chips will remain on the property or be hauled away. We also clarify who is gathering or staging the brush and what final cleanup is included.

What Affects a Brush-Chipping Estimate?

  • Volume and type of brush
  • Branch diameter and pile density
  • Access to the brush
  • Whether material is staged and free of contamination
  • Chip handling, haul-away, and cleanup scope

Brush Chipping FAQs

What materials can be chipped?

Suitable tree branches, woody brush, and some hedge or shrub trimmings can be chipped after the pile is reviewed.

What cannot go through with the brush?

Rocks, soil, metal, wire, construction waste, and other contamination should not be mixed into material intended for chipping.

Can the chips stay on my property?

Chip handling depends on the agreed scope. Tell us if you want chips left for use on the property or hauled away.

Do you haul brush away?

Hauling can be included. The estimate should identify what material will be removed and what will remain.

Can chipping be included with trimming or removal?

Yes. Brush processing is commonly part of tree trimming, tree removal, hedge trimming, or clearing cleanup.

Does the brush need to be in one pile?

Pile location and access affect the work. We review how material is staged and what gathering is included when preparing the estimate.
